Tomás Conde ha trabajado en BBVA durante más de 25 años donde ejerció numerosos cargos directivos y en diferentes países. Fue su director de sostenibilidad durante 11 años. De 2014-2016 y como secondee de BBVA creó la unidad de inclusión financiera digital en el IIF (Institute of International Finance) en Washington DC.
Actualmente es director de ESG&Sustainable Finance en la consultora financiera y de riesgos N World y ESG senior advisor en AERI (Asociación Española para la Relación con los Inversores). Es además embajador del IIRC (International Integrated Reporting Council) y ha sido senior advisor de sostenibilidad en LLYC de 2019-2021. Es miembro de Spainsif y AECA. Patrono de la Fundación Haz. Tomás es economista por la Universidad de Valladolid y master en ingeniería y gestión medioambiental por la Escuela de Organización Industrial y PDG por IESE. Tiene un ESG certificate por EFFAS.
Es profesor de ESG& Sustainable Finance en el Instituto de Empresa IE y en el Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles IEB así como en el Instituto BME en el curso superior de relación con inversores. Imparte clases en Cátedra Inditex de Sostenibilidad de la UDC en Coruña.
Tomás Conde has worked at BBVA for more than 25 years where he held numerous management positions in different countries. He was its director of sustainability for 11 years. From 2014-2016 and as a BBVA secondee he created the digital financial inclusion unit at the IIF (Institute of International Finance) in Washington DC.
He is currently director of ESG&Sustainable Finance at N World a financial and risk consultancy and ESG senior advisor at AERI (Spanish Association for Investor Relations). He is also an ambassador for the IIRC (International Integrated Reporting Council) and has been senior advisor for sustainability at LLYC from 2019-2021. He is a member of Spainsif and AECA. He is a trustee of the Fundación Haz. Tomás holds a degree in economics from the University of Valladolid and a master’s degree in engineering and environmental management from the Escuela de Organización Industrial and PDG from IESE. He holds an ESG certificate from EFFAS.
He teaches ESG& Sustainable Finance at Instituto de Empresa IE and Instituto de Estudios Bursátiles IEB as well as at Instituto BME in the advanced course on investor relations. He teaches at the Inditex Chair of Sustainability at the UDC in Coruña
